The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors has adopted an Affordable Housing Impact Fee. The new fee will be applicable to residential and non-residential development of certain types and sizes. The purpose of the fee is to offset the impact of new development on the need for affordable housing in San Mateo County; the fees will be collected in a dedicated trust fund used to finance affordable housing in the County.
The San Mateo County Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) Steering Committee invites all San Mateo County residents to review and comment on the final draft of the 2016 Multi-Jurisdictional HMP from June 10 to June 30.
The NFO Plan established goals and objectives for future development in the community, and specific recommendations for the adoption of zoning, development, and design standards to implement the land use changes formally incorporated in the Plan.
