The proposed Commercial Mixed Use (CMU) zoning would replace the existing C-1/S-1, C-2/S-1, PUD and P zoning along the northeast side of the El Camino Real between the City of Redwood City and Town of Atherton borders, and 5th Avenue between the El Camino Real and the Southern Pacific right of way. The new Commercial Mixed Use (NMU) Zoning designation would implement and be consistent with the land use categories adopted in the North Fair Oaks Community Plan. Planning staff are currently working with the North Fair Oaks Zoning Working Group to refine the zoning proposal for formal consideration by the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors.
