Starting on November 7th, 2014, farmers, growers and landowners in the unincorporated areas that need zoning and planning information for agriculture projects will now be able to go to Half Moon Bay to meet in person with a San Mateo County Planner. This coordinated effort between San Mateo County Supervisor Don Horsley, the San Mateo County Planning and Building Department, and the San Mateo County Department of Agriculture/Weights and Measures, will allow the agriculture community of San Mateo County to speak directly with Planning staff about permits, zoning, and other planning topics. Rob Bartoli, a Planner with the County, will be staffing the San Mateo County Department of Agriculture/Weights and Measures Office.

Starting on May 13, Paula Thomsen from the County Building Department will be at the Half Moon Bay Office hours to assist customers with building permits and questions.
